I went through Field Medical Service School with HR Wood. As one of our few E-1s in the class, his confidence and sense of humor would never have led you to believe he was one of the lowest ranking members of the class! I still laugh at some of his jokes which remind me of him whenever we have to repeat the mundane tasks of "Greenside" life. I was really heartbroken to hear of his passing and think of him often.
